Molten Volleyballs V5M5000-3N volleyball is the future Official volleyball of NCAA Mens Championships beginning in 2012. This ball has been developed using Molten FLISTATEC technology, which stands for Flight Stability Technology, this ball is approved by FIVB and is set to revolutionize volleyball design The new FLISTATEC Volleyball boasts increased ball control and improved visibility. By improving the air-current around the ball while in flight, Molten has succeeded in increasing ball control during play Ground-breaking research by Molten revealed that by placing raised hexagonal shaped designs on the surface of the ball the manufacturer has been able to enhance the flight stability of the ball Further improvements include the adding of a softer, thicker micro-fiber layer to the ball which, when combined with the secure nylon wound layer and the uniquely designed hexagon surface layer, increases the grip and allows for firmer, more accurate overhand passing In addition, Molten has improved the visibility of this new ball by placing three streamlined panels on each side of the volleyball, complementing Moltens existing panels of white, red and green, and thereby creating a smoother rotation motion and greatly enhancing visibility.

Molten Volleyballs are made with the vision of pushing athletes to their limits and brining them to their full potential. Founded in 1958, Molten Volleyballs have become the official ball of the NCAA Men’s and Women’s volleyball championship. To help review the Molten volleyball V58X Softouch are two professionals, Cassie Busse and Anthony Medel. Cassie is a seasoned pro who has competed in the 2008 Tour of China and gained national recognition in 2003-2004 after receiving Ameroica Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) First Team All-America honors and Big Ten Player of the Year honors. Cassie also paced Toa Baja to the 2009 regular season and playoff championship in the Puerto Rico Super League Anthony Medel is a renowned beach volleyball player who in getting to his first ever championship match in Atlanta in 2008, eliminated Phil Dalhausser and Todd Rogers. He grew up playing volleyball in Santa Barbara, competing on the beach since the age of 14 and won his first tournament at the age of 16. In college, Medel lead Golden West to a second place finish in the state 1999-2000 and ranked #1 in kills and aces and Molten Volleyballs Review Cassie: “It feels an little heavy, I don’t know if its the panelling but it does have a good texture.” Cassie rates this ball 3.5 out of 5
